As many shops slowly close their doors and the Prime Minister urges people to either stay indoors or stay at least two metres away from others, Havering parks were jam-packed with people over the weekend like a bank holiday weekend.

People took to the parks to play football, ride their bikes and even have picnics and barbeques.

Bedford’s Park in Havering-atte-Bower had picnics and barbeques all day as families arrived to enjoy the sunshine, ignoring advice for the Government and the pleas from our NHS staff who are begging us on their hands and knees to stay at home and not help spread this virus further.

Yet some of Havering did not adhere to this and took themselves out despite all the health warnings given.
