Vehicle collides with police car following car chase in Collier Row.

A police chase was witnessed by locals in Collier Row today after a car failed to stop and a police chase followed along Lowshoe Lane and ending in Moreland Close.

A Met spokesperson told the Havering Daily: “Police in a marked police vehicle indicated for a car to stop in Collier Row Lane, Romford, at 09:27hrs on Wednesday, 12 February.

“The car failed to stop and a pursuit was authorised. The suspect car collided with the police vehicle in Moorland Close before coming to a stop.

“No injuries were reported and one male (no further details) was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taking and driving away and another male (no further details) was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

“They have been taken to an east London police station.”
