Armed police in Romford, man arrested for breach of licence and recalled to prison.
Shoppers in Romford reported seeing multiple police vehicles yesterday following reports of men with a firearm at a property.
Police vehicles packed along High Street, Romford looking for the suspects in question.
A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 12:43hrs on Sunday, 29 December to reports of males seen in possession of a firearm at an address in Logan Mews, Romford.
“Officers, including firearms officers, attended and a search of the address was conducted – no firearms were found.
“One male (no further details at present) was arrested for breach of his licence and recalled to prison.”
