MP attends care home Christmas party.


Residents from Ashbrook care home in Collier Row were visited by their local MP Andrew Rosindell on Saturday 7th December for a fun filled Christmas party.

The party included live singing from Sing Star Academy who brought 15 -20 youngsters to sing pop and Christmas songs to the residents. Residents were able to join in a song and a dance the afternoon away.

Mr Rosindell was also able to meet the pets that come regularly to the care home, especially Zack and Chelsea who add great value to the lives of the residents at Ashbrook.

Mr Jayanti Patel (Director of Abbey Total Care)and Raj Patel (Director One Tree Estates) introduced the oldest resident at Ashbrook, Elsie who is 102 years old to Andrew as she recalled meeting his mother. They were both able to reminisce together.

Residents were pleased to meet and greet their MP just before the general election and many offered their support. A great day was had by all.
