Vic ‘Tory’ for Havering as borough stays blue in Romford and Hornchurch.

The night belonged to the Conservative party as Havering saw the biggest majority wins for both Romford and Hornchurch and Upminster.

Dagenham and Rainham was retained by Labour with the smallest of gaps. Jon Cruddas winning by just 293 votes.

Andrew Rosindell won the Romford seat with an incredible 30,000 votes against Labour’s 12,000 and in the Hornchurch and Upminster seat Julia Lopez won with 35,000 votes against Labour’s 12,000.

In the Dagenham and Rainham constituency one of the most contested seats in the country, Jon Cruddas won with 19, 468 against the Conservative vote of 19, 175.
