GRAPHIC VIDEO: 19 yr old brutally punched in unprovoked attack in Romford.
On Sunday 17th of November at 3am Tommy Mason was brutally punched and assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Romford.
The quiet and gentle 19 year old was attacked by a security guard who works for the Regency/Doorsec at the Mac Donalds in South Street, Romford.
Tommy had been waiting for an Uber with his girlfriend when they witnessed this security guard hit another member of the public. In shock at what they were seeing Tommy’s girlfriend began filming the incident when the same security guard came over to her and grabbed her by the wrists shouting in her face.
Tommy intervened and put himself between his girlfriend and the guard to protect his girlfriend and was violently assaulted. Tommy was punched so hard that he fell to the floor hitting his head hard on the pavement.

Tommy was knocked out cold and passerby’s came to help lift him up and get him back on his feet. Shockingly he was then refused entry into MacDonald’s to sit down away from the cold after being assaulted.
Tommy then went to his father’s house feeling very wobbly on his feet and was immediately rushed to hospital.
Tommy’s mother Becky told the Havering Daily;
“My son is very quiet and very gentle I always worry when he goes to Romford. I thought we were going to lose him at first. The staff at Queen’s were amazing, the surgeons came down straight away and spoken about life changing injuries and being in intensive care. They told us the first 48-72 hours were crucial to see how he would recover”.
Tommy suffered severe frontal lobe bruising, a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain as a result of this horrific attack.
Becky continued:
“This guard has a reputation for doing this and other awful things. Tommy was the second incident he was involved with that night plus I have been told he has previous for putting his hands up girls skirts or other sexual incidents”.
Tommy suffers with anxiety and mental health issues and is a very quiet and shy teenager. This wicked and brutal attack has left the community in shock.
“Tommy now can’t go on public transport on his own as a result of the injuries he has sustained. I know he will never want to go out like that now as consequence of this.
Becky is now campaigning to get MacDonalds closed at 11pm in South Street and it is believed that the violent security guard has now been suspended.
Here is a video of after the attack.
