The Residents Association across Havering have spoken about their alternative budget that was submitted earlier this year that would have seen the free thirty minutes parking kept.
Parking charge increases and the removal of the free thirty minutes across Havering have sparked off many protests and seen the leader of the council verbally abused.
The Residents Association have now released this exclusive video to the Havering Daily where the leader of the opposition Councillor Ray Morgon and Councillor Gillian Ford talk openly about how they could have kept the free parking and been able to cope with the financial shortfalls the borough keeps facing every year.
The alternative budget was submitted earlier in the year but rejected by the Conservative Administration despite it being a viable option.
The two councillors discuss these issues here on video.
