Tube fares are set to rise in 2026 with some Londoners facing price hikes of more than double inflation.

The cost of a single Tube ride in Zone 1 is about to jump sharply, hitting commuters right in the pocket. Peak fares will surge 6.9 per cent, rising from £2.90 to £3.10. Off-peak journeys, including weekends, are going up even more a 7.1 per cent hike taking fares from £2.80 to £3.
