St Albans ward Councillor Judith Holt began fighting for the free half hour parking for residents using the Park Lane shops last year. Councillor Holt worked closely with members of the Bencrest Chemist to get the half hour free parking restored and launched a petition that was handed in at a Full Council meeting in 2023.
