The Havering Daily, yesterday visited the Romford District Synagogue to chat with local residents. Worshippers were pleased to see that they were well supported by local officers who joined them on the special day of Yom Kippur. This is an incredible community who are very united and much respected amongst the broader community.
He was very much respected and loved by all. He had a huge personality that would capture the room as soon as he entered it. His words provided peace and kindness to all in Havering. He was a real community champion who would never say no when asked for his support.
