Romford Safer Neighbourhood Team officers were patrolling the town centre when they spotted a group of males loitering around Sapphire Ice Leisure Centre. One male was seen suspected of smoking a joint of Cannabis.

Response team officers patrolling Hornchurch yesterday noticed a vehicle that was not so keen to stop at temporary traffic lights. The officers signalled for the vehicle to stop and although the vehicle did, the driver and passenger took the opportunity for some additional exercise and decamped from the vehicle. Our officers however, were not to be deterred, sprang into action and caught up with both men after a foot chase.
