Andrew Rosindell MP Pays Tribute to Romford’s GPs and Medical Staff
Romford MP Andrew Rosindell has paid tribute to local GPs and medical staff for the vital service they provide to residents, after attending the annual dinner of the Barking and Havering Local Medical Committee (LMC).

The event brought together healthcare professionals from across the Romford area, giving the MP an opportunity to meet those working in primary care and personally thank them for their dedication to the local community.
Sharing his thoughts following the dinner, Mr Rosindell highlighted the important role played by the LMC in supporting doctors and GP practices across the area.
He said:
“I was pleased to attend the annual dinner of the Barking and Havering Local Medical Committee (LMC) to meet local GPs and medical staff from the right across the Romford area and thank them personally for the wonderful service they provide to our community.
“The LMC carry out important work as a representative organisation within the NHS to advise, support, and advocate for primary care doctors and GP practices in the community.
“A huge thank you to my old friend Dr. Madhu Patahk MBE for her dedicated work as Chief Executive and Secretary of the @BDH_LMC for so many years.”
The Barking and Havering LMC represents and supports local GPs, helping to ensure that the views and needs of primary care doctors are heard within the NHS.
GPs and their teams are often the first point of contact for patients seeking medical advice and treatment, playing a crucial role in the health and wellbeing of communities across Romford and the wider area.
Mr Rosindell’s message recognised not only the work of local medical professionals but also the contribution of Dr Madhu Pathak MBE, whom he thanked for her longstanding service to the organisation.
