Free Live Music Returns to Raphael Park This August
Looking for something to do this summer? Residents can enjoy free live music every Sunday throughout August as the popular Summer Sessions Live at the Bandstand returns to Raphael Park in Romford.
Running from 2pm to 4pm each Sunday, the family-friendly events will showcase talented local musicians in the beautiful surroundings of one of Havering’s most popular parks.
The concerts are completely free, open to all ages and there is no need to book. Simply turn up, bring a chair or picnic blanket, and enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment with family and friends.
A different line-up of local performers will take to the stage each week, offering something new for visitors to enjoy.
Leader of Havering Council, Councillor Keith Prince AM, said:
“Summer Sessions Live celebrates our parks, green spaces and the local talent that helps bring them to life.
These sessions are a great chance for residents to come together, enjoy live entertainment and make the most of Raphael Park during the summer.
I would like to thank all the musicians taking part and encourage everyone to come along, support our local performers and enjoy these summer afternoons in Raphael Park.”
Raphael Park’s historic bandstand has been entertaining generations of residents for many years, making it the perfect venue to once again bring the community together through music.
