Where’s Wally? The Gallows Corner Edition…

Latest photos have been taken of the ongoing works at Gallows Corner and once again not a person in sight.

Peter Barrett-Havering’s drone photographer has been capturing regular photos of the works at Gallows Corner. Here are the ones taken yesterday.

The result?

Well… once again, not a hard hat, high-vis jacket or workman was visible anywhere in sight.

Now, before anyone writes in, yes—we’re told the work is currently taking place underground in the pipes. So, apparently, there are workers on site… they’re just impossible to photograph.

At this rate, Gallows Corner could become Havering’s newest tourist attraction.

“Come and marvel at Britain’s most mysterious roadworks!”

Residents continue to endure the daily queues, diversions and frustration, while TfL still cannot say exactly when the project will finally be completed.

Until then, we’ll keep doing what many Havering residents are doing—popping back every now and again to see if anyone has emerged from beneath the ground.

Watch this space… 👀
