Teen Moped Thieves Nabbed Following Swift Work By Havering Police.

Officers from Havering Police Emergency Response team have arrested two 15 year old boys after they were caught riding a stolen moped in Harold Wood.

The arrests came after officers carrying out proactive patrols in the area spotted the teenagers riding the vehicle. Quick checks confirmed the moped had been reported stolen the day before.

The youths attempted to evade officers but were swiftly stopped thanks to the rapid response and professionalism of the patrol team. Both teenagers were arrested at the scene and have since been charged and bailed.

The arrest highlights the effectiveness of proactive policing in Havering, with officers acting quickly to recover stolen property and prevent further crime.
