Sport Report 29th November – 4th December 2025

Hello, it’s Jasper, Junior Sports Report for The Havering Daily, and I welcome you to another article, where I look at this week’s football.

Please read on for my review of the weekend, including Hornchurch and the latest from the Premier League. I have also added the midweek scores, where there was a full Premier League fixture list.

Thank you Havering!

29th November

Hornchurch FC

Worthing 5 – 0 Hornchurch

Goals: B Dolaghan x 2, R Coleman, T Byron, and N Odokonyero

On Saturday, Hornchurch fell from the top of the league (on goal difference) to third.

Weston-Super-Mare has a slightly better goal difference. Same with Torquay United, however Torquay have played 20, compared to Hornchurch’s, and Weston-Super-Mare, who have played 19.

Premier League Round-Up

Brentford 3 – 1 Burnley

Igor Thiago x 2, and Flemming

D Ouattara

Four goals scored after the 80th minute, including one in the 90+2 – fair to say late drama at the G-Tech Stadium—a brace from in-form Brentford forward Igor Thiago.

Unlucky for Burnley, but fantastic for Brentford.

Manchester City 3 – 2 Leeds United

P Foden x 2, D Calvert – Lewin

J Gvardiol, L Nmecha

Foden, a man from Manchester, scored a brace. Check.

A win, Check!

Coach asking a player to pretend to be injured so they can win, Check!

That was Man City’s checklist. From 2-0 up at halftime to 2-2 in the 90th minute when player Foden scored. Late winner, Check!

Sunderland 3- 2 AFC Bournemouth

E Le Fee, A Adil

B Traore, T Adams

B Brobbey

Sunderland, it might be time to admit it, as a Newcastle fan, it pains me to say this –

But so far, they are the most determined team in the Premier League. Going from 2-0 down to win this game. I have to be full of praise.

Everton 1 – 4 Newcastle

K Dewsbury-Hall, M Thiaw x 2

L Miley

N Woltemade

YES. Sorry just had to get the biased side out of me.  What a win. Malick Thiaw has more Premier League goals than Isak. Absolute cinema (apart from the weather).

Tottenham Hotspur 1 – 2 Fulham

M Kudus, K Tete

H Wilson

Fulham dominated for the first 10 minutes, probably should’ve scored more. Then after that it was very end to end. Then Kudus sneaked one in.

First away win of the season for Fulham.

30th November

Crystal Palace 1 – 2 Manchester United

J Mateta, J Zirkzee

M Mount

Mateta scored a (retaken) penalty. But two bangers from the Red Devils meant a win for United.

Mason Mount showed that it’s simple: he plays, he scores.

Aston Villa 1 – 0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

B. Kamara

New Wolves head coach Edwards is still winless, with zero points earned, but I don’t think his hiring was Pointless! Wolves seem to be a very bad team, though. Good win for Villa.

Nottingham Forest 0 – 2 Brighton & Hove Albion

M De Cuyper

S Tzimas

After beating Liverpool, Forest went up against Brighton. They certainly didn’t win 3-0 this time. Hopefully Marinakis is kind to Sean Dyche.

West Ham 0 – 2 Liverpool

A Isak

C Gakpo

Was Paqueta betting on that red card? We can talk about that another time. Meanwhile, what you’ve all been wating for – My report on Isak.

All I can say is good goal, don’t think it should take him a month to score an average goal, which his replacement Woltamade scores almost every game.

Chelsea 1 – 1 Arsenal

T Chalobah, Mikel Merino

Another red card for Chelsea, but another point for both title contenders. Could this game decide the title? Share your prediction for the title in the comments.
