The Collier Row Youth Creatives launched in Sapphire Jubilee this Autumn.
A new youth group is being launched at the Sapphire Jubilee Centre in Collier Row.
Founded by The Third Space CIC and Havering Changing, the youth group aims to bring accessible art to young people while giving them a space to socialise outside of school hours. The group is supported by London Borough of Havering.
The group works with the young people who come along to plan the activities around their intersections, which includes rap, crafting, shadow making and more!
The free group runs every Wednesday.
4:30pm – 6pm for ages 11 to 13
6pm – 8pm for ages 13 to 19
A spokesperson said: ‘We are an inclusive, friendly, fun youth club that runs from the Sapphire Jubilee centre in Collier Row. We want to support you to release your creativity!
We will offer you creative opportunities, a place to make friends, and a way to learn new skills. Come along, meet Carrie and Jane and a range of local artists and let us know what you want to see in Collier Row!
We are qualified youth workers with a lot of experience. We are also a friendly ear for anyone who needs to talk.’
