A Special Bench Unveiled in Romford In Honour of all our Fallen Heroes.

A new memorial bench has been unveiled outside Havering Town Hall to honour all those who lost their lives in wars throughout history.

The beautifully crafted bench was donated by local resident Steve Bulled and officially unveiled yesterday by Havering’s Mayor, Councillor Sue Ospreay.

The tribute comes ahead of the annual Remembrance Sunday services that will take place across the borough this weekend.

Mr Bulled was also presented with a Mayor’s Merit from our fantastic Mayor, in thanks for all his dedication to our borough.

Both Steve and the Mayor were joined by local police officers and councillors to pay their respects to the many heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.
