BREAKING: Live-School Closures And Buses Stopped Due To Rainham Fire.

A ten pump fire on Blueberry Court on Orchard Village, Rainham, has broken out in the early hours of this morning.

Flames were seen from the middle floor of the flats- working their way up to the top floors.

Residents have been evacuated and local school -Newton’s Primary School is closed, parents have been contacted. Buses have also been stopped due to road closures.

Firefighters have used high ladder turntables to access the fire due to its height and have as always, done an outstanding job saving lives.

Councillor Matt Stanton is on the scene to support residents and has thanked firefighters for their hard work.

The Mardyke Community Centre is open for anyone displaced by the fire.
