Experience Kate Bush’s Magic at The Brookside Theatre
Appearing at The Brookside Theatre, Romford on 4th October are Moments Of Pleasure: The Music of Kate Bush who will be celebrating 40 years of the seminal, classic album Hounds Of Love.
The show features the astounding vocals and spellbinding performance of Lisa-Marie Walters. Backed by four musicians who are able to recreate the sound of Kate Bush’s records with absolute precision, Lisa-Marie’s vocal and visual performance is frankly astonishing! Emulating Kate’s voice and mannerisms like no other, and generating so much love and emotion from the audience, she is widely lauded as the next best thing to listening to Kate Bush herself.
The concert will include the hits from Hounds Of Love, including Cloudbusting, Hounds Of Love itself, and, thanks to its resurgence from its prominent use in the hit TV series Stranger Things, the Number 1 single Running Up That Hill. The band will also be performing material from the album’s ground-breaking B-side, The Ninth Wave. A song suite that tells the story of a woman lost at sea after a shipwreck, The Ninth Wave is regarded amongst many Kate Bush fans as her finest work.
Also included will be all the hits that any performance of Kate Bush’s music would be incomplete without. Concert goers can expect to hear early songs like the ethereal Wuthering Heights and the beauty of The Man With The Child In His Eyes, through classics like the mischievous Babooshka and the poignant Army Dreamers, to the later material like This Woman’s Work and King Of The Mountain.
Due to the band’s reputation as the finest performers of Kate Bush’s music, Lisa-Marie made several interview appearances on BBC TV and ITV when Running Up That Hill became a 21st century hit. She was also interviewed on BBC Radio 5 Live and various BBC regional stations and has featured on the front cover of the Sunday Times magazine, appeared in Best magazine, and Take a Break magazine.
