Collier Row’s Brock Whiston Returns from World Para Swimming Championships with Four Medals
Collier Row’s very own Paralympic star, Brock Whiston, has once again made Havering proud by returning from the World Para Swimming Championships in Singapore with an incredible haul of four medals.
Brock competed in four events and finished on the podium in every single one. She claimed gold in the SM8 200m individual medley, silver in both the SB8 100m breaststroke and the S8 400m freestyle, and a bronze in the S8 100m butterfly.

These results mean Brock has gone one better than her remarkable Paralympic debut in Paris last year, where she won two medals. Now, just a year later, she has doubled her tally on the world stage.
Speaking after her success, Brock said: “It’s been an incredible experience competing in Singapore and I’m so proud to bring these medals home. Every race was a challenge, but I gave it my all. None of this would be possible without the support from my family, coaches, and everyone back in Havering cheering me on, including my long time sponsor, Hawkins and Sons Butchers.”

Her proud mum Liz added: “Brock has worked so hard and to see her come back from Singapore with four medals is just incredible. She’s made us, and Havering, extremely proud.”
With Paris 2024 still fresh in people’s minds and Singapore 2025 now another glittering chapter, Brock’s story is one of inspiration, dedication, and true sporting excellence.
