‘Our Harold Hill’ Community Fun Day To Return Bigger And Better Than Before!
The much-loved “Our Harold Hill” Clear Hold Build Community Fun Day is back this Saturday and it’s set to be even bigger and better than last year.
Following on from the huge success of 2024’s event, Havering Police, in partnership with the local community, are once again opening the doors for a free family fun day packed with activities, performances, and opportunities to meet the people who serve our borough.
Last year, thousands flocked to the Harold Hill Central Park to enjoy face painting, bouncy castles, live performances, and the chance to chat with local officers. Residents praised the event as “a real show of community spirit” and are already excited for its return.
This year promises even more. Families will be able to enjoy:
- Free face painting and bouncy castles
- Performances from local dance, karate and stage schools including Apogee Stars, Aspire School of Dance, and Starshine Stage School
- Emergency service demonstrations from police dogs, mounted police horses, firearms teams, TSG, London Fire Brigade, St John’s Ambulance (with CPR and first aid inputs), and the Expo bomb disposal unit
- Community stalls from Havering Council’s Community Safety Bus, Youth Unity, Neighbourhood Watch, Box Up Crime, and more
- Charities and groups including Sue Hedges from the Ricky Hayden Foundation, CGL (drug support service), and Deer Aid
The event starts at 11am and runs throughout the day. No tickets are required, and everyone is welcome to come along, bring their families, and join in celebrating the fantastic sense of community in Harold Hill.
“This is a day for the community, with the community, and about the community. Last year’s turnout was phenomenal, and this year we expect it to be even better,” said organisers.
Last year, the community fun day was a truly incredible success with thousands arriving to enjoy all the fantastic activities on hand. It really was a community day that was brilliantly organised by our police officers.
Thanks to the efforts of Havering Police, Havering Council, and RM3 Events, the 2025 Harold Hill Community Fun Day is set to be a highlight of the year — and one not to miss.
