Local lad Tommy Weeden is once again proving what a big heart he has, as he embarks on a star-jumping challenge to raise money for Alopecia UK.

Tommy, from Harold Hill, has taken on the challenge of completing 131 star jumps every single day throughout September. It’s not the first time he’s done this — two years ago he smashed his goal, raising an incredible £1,500 and earning the prestigious Hanna Dennis Alopecia Awareness Award for his dedication in spreading awareness.

Now, Tommy is back in action. His mission is simple: to give something back to the workers and volunteers who have supported him through his own journey with alopecia. He also wants to help fund vital research into the causes and treatments of the condition.

“Tommy often struggled himself, so has now made it his mission to help support those who were there for him,” said his dad Andrew.

Tommy’s determination and community spirit shine through in everything he does. This isn’t just about star jumps — it’s about breaking down stigma, raising awareness, and supporting those who may feel isolated by alopecia.

Tommy, you’re an incredible young man. Let’s all get behind him and show our support for his amazing efforts!
