Please see police appeal below:

We are appealing for the owners of suspected stolen tools, which were recovered by officers in Dagenham, to come forward.

Today, Tuesday 5 August, officers from Operation Yamata conducted a warrant in the Dagenham area and found power tools and equipment which are believed to have been stolen from their original owners.

We are now appealing for the owners to come forward so officers can return the tools to them.

Items recovered include several drills (impact, hammer and combi), angle grinders, a jigsaw, a reciprocating saw and multi-tools. A number of the tools have a distinctive ‘AB Ltd’ written on them and some have ‘Joe’. Most are branded Dewalt and Festool.

Two men, aged 22 and 57, were arrested on suspicion of theft from six motor vehicles, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession with intent to supply class A drugs (crack cocaine).

PC James McMahon said: “Anyone who recognises the items in these pictures is asked to get in touch, so that we can return them to the rightful owners.

“Please be aware you must provide proof of ownership in order to claim any of the tools.”

If you think these belong to you, please contact us by calling 101, quoting reference CAD960/05AUG25
