VIDEO: Havering Police To Hold Free Tool Marking Event In A Bid To Crack Down On Tool Theft.

Havering Police are continuing their battle to crackdown on tool theft by hosting a free tool marking event on Thursday 17 July outside Roneo Corner B&Q, starting from 7am.

The aim of the event is to mark as many tools as possible with the support of Selecta DNA and Havering Council.

Officers have been working hard for months to crack down on tool thefts following raids on several boot sales across Rainham and Collier Row that saw half a million pounds worth of stolen tools recovered.

This is a further step in the battle against tool thefts.

The targeted operations have been run by South Havering Neighbourhoods Inspector Mark Connolly who is leading the campaign to crackdown on tool thefts.
