Elm Park Ward Councillor Barry Mugglestone, who has been working closely with the police and the local retail outlets in regards to shoplifting across the area, told the Havering Daily:
“Great work from the Team at the Co-op Elm and local Safer Neighbourhood Teams who have made this happen. Eighty eight weeks in prison is a long time to reflect on your actions.
“All three Elm Park Ward Councillors will continue to work with our local shops and officers, and use the whatspp group set up to deal with ASB, especially shoplifting.”
