The Havering Chamber of Commerce hosted its latest monthly business networking event at the Palms Hotel, drawing one of its largest attendances to date. Local business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals gathered for an morning of lively networking, collaboration, and business insight.

Chamber members were warmly welcomed by the Directors of the Palms Hotel, who opened their doors to showcase the venue’s hospitality and growing role as a hub for community and business events. Attendees were given the opportunity to view the hotel’s expanding facilities, which include dedicated event spaces and ongoing developments to enhance capacity and services.

A highlight of the event was a presentation by representatives from Digital Reef, the company behind the new data centre project being considered for the borough. They outlined how the arrival of the centre would open up major opportunities for Havering businesses — from enhanced digital infrastructure to potential collaborations and supplier contracts.

The networking meeting once again demonstrated the value of Chamber membership, with a packed room full of like-minded professionals exchanging contacts and exploring partnerships.
