On Friday 13 June officers attended an address on Dagenham Healthway following concerns that a man had barricaded himself in a house. Officers attended and the road was closed as they began talking and working with the man to try and get him out of the property safely.

Following a length of time and a great deal of work by both local officers and officers from the Territorial Support Group, the man was removed from the house and taken to hospital.
