Dagenham And Rainham MP Backs Major Job Fair To Take Place In Rainham.

Job Fair at CEME Marsh Way- Rainham

Dagenham and Rainham MP, Margaret Mullane, together with the Peabody Housing Group have combined to sponsor the event at the CEME campus, Marsh Way, Rainham. Major London employers in the private and public sectors are taking part in the job fair arranged for Friday 4 July from 9:30 – 1pm.

Margaret told the Havering Daily: “I am determined to do all I can to facilitate and encourage local people to find jobs and get into work. The Job Fair will be a great opportunity for people to link up with good businesses and organisations. I invite all local people who this may be of interest to come along and for residents to share with family and friends.

 I know that for some people making the move in to employment is tough for all kinds of reasons. But getting into employment and earning a wage doesn’t just mean becoming better off and greater independence, it opens up possibilities in life. So I hope that this Job Fair will result in some people from Dagenham and Rainham taking that step that will give them a better future and more fulfilled lives.

I want to thank the many organisations that are taking part in the Job Fair. They all want to recruit people in our area, they are showing commitment to Dagenham and Rainham. And I also must thank CEME for hosting the event. CEME is a beacon for nurturing the innovative technologies that will bring sustainable growth and for developing the careers of so many local people and start up businesses.”
