VIDEO: Police Seize Dogs In Romford After Woman Attacked And Taken To Hospital.


A woman in Rush Green was taken to hospital after being attacked by dogs yesterday morning. It is believed the woman attempted to break up a dog fight, when the attack happened. A man in his 40s at the same property on Rush Green Road, was arrested and four dogs were seized.

An eye witness who saw the event told the Havering Daily: “The lady tried to break up the dog fight and got bitten in the process. A male family member was then placed in handcuffs by police officers and taken away. He had an Xl Bully type dog in his car which was also taken away.”

A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called to reports that a woman had been injured by a dog at an address in Rush Green Road, Romford at around 09:17 on Sunday, 4 May.

A woman in her 20s was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being in control of a dangerous dog. He remains in custody.

Four dogs were seized by officers.”

Officers believe the dogs are not thought to be a banned breed.
