Havering Mayor praises Wanis International Foods for their outstanding contributions to the business community.

The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, toured the facility to learn more about the company’s operations and its pivotal role in the food distribution sector.

Wanis, a leading importer and distributor of world foods, has been a key player in the industry for six decades, supplying thousands of products to retailers, restaurants, and wholesalers across the UK and Europe.

Founded in 1964, Wanis has grown into one of Europe’s foremost suppliers of international foods, offering an extensive range of products that cater to the diverse culinary needs of businesses.

Their state-of-the-art Rainham warehouse enables efficient distribution, ensuring businesses receive high-quality goods promptly and reliably.

Beyond their corporate success, Wanis plays an essential role in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). They provide tailored services to independent retailers and foodservice businesses, helping them access a diverse product range that meets the demands of their customers.

Wanis’s dedication to the local business community was further highlighted during the Business Networking Reception at Romford Town Hall on Thursday, 20th March.

As Wanis celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, the company continues to uphold its strong values of corporate responsibility.

To mark this milestone, they have pledged and distributed £60,000 in charitable donations, further reinforcing their dedication to making a positive impact both locally and globally.
