Romford Officers Remove Mopeds And E-Bikes After Targeted Operation.

Safer Neighbourhood officers across Romford, yesterday, undertook an operation to crackdown on mopeds, E-Bikes and illegally used vehicles.

The operation resulted in numerous vehicles being seized for no insurance and no license, one person being stopped for driving whilst using a mobile phone and another for not having a valid MOT.

Officers worked on ‘OperationCubo’ for the day targeting the illegal use of vehicles across the area and stopping nearly a hundred vehicles.

Mopeds and E-Bikes are frequently becoming a menace to those on the road and pedestrians who have to dodge riders who pull up anywhere they want regardless of those walking.
