Elm Park Ward Councillors Take on Mission To Clear Town Centre And Plant Bulbs Ready For the Spring.
Elm Park Ward councillors Barry Mugglestone, Stephanie Nunn and Julie Wilkes spent two and a half hours tidying up Elm Park town centre on Thursday 30 January.
The team litter picked along the Elm Park hill in between the shrubs, had a general tidy and added bulbs to the little train area to prepare for the spring.
Councillor Nunn told the Havering Daily that the litter had been building up but the weather hadn’t been ideal to get on with the job. As well as litter we found several traffic-cones that needed rehoming.
Cllr Mugglestone added that they were pleased to promote the Where We Live campaign in Elm Park as it had been their homes all their lives!
Cllr Wilkes asked residents to please look at the noticeboard next to Elm Park Station for details of their next tidy up
We encourage people to use the bins or take their rubbish home and DO Not Drop Litter!
