Excellent Work By East Area Proactive Officers Sees Large Quantity Of Drugs, Cash, Knives And A Taser Removed.

A vehicle and foot pursuit by officers from East Area Proactive Team resulted in the removal of Class A,B and C drugs, a large quantity of cash, lock knives and a taser from a vehicle.

The vehicle failed to stop on Wednesday (22 January) evening for officers and a pursuit began through Rainham. The occupant then decamped the vehicle and attempted to run from officers but was swiftly caught and arrested.

Another male was also arrested on the night by officers. Both are currently in custody.

This is fantastic proactive work by our local officers that has removed drugs and dangerous weapons off our street.
