Romford MP’s Festive Carols Around The Tree Held.
On Friday evening, the local community gathered at Margaret Thatcher House to celebrate the annual MP’s “Carols Around the Christmas Tree”, a cherished tradition at the Romford Conservative Association.
The service was led by Father David Perry of the Church of St. Edward The Confessor and Father Roderick Hingley of St. Alban’s Protomartyr Romford, with support from Deacon Daniel Olukayode and the choir of the Kingsway Christian Centre.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps delivered a spectacular musical performance, providing a perfect backdrop to the carol service.
Members of the public, including Andrew Rosindell MP, Councillor Viddy Persaud and Councillor Christine Vickery provided Bible readings.
Following the outdoor gathering, attendees were invited indoors for a warm and festive reception. The celebration featured classic Christmas treats, including mince pies, yule log, and mulled wine.
