Special memorial to take place this weekend in honour of much loved Romford Rabbi.
On Sunday 27 October, 2pm- a special memorial will take place at Coronation Gardens in Romford in memory of the much loved Rabbi Lee Sunderland.
Rabbi Lee sadly passed away in May this year leaving the local community truly saddened. Rabbi Lee was a much loved local community champion who supported everybody in our community regardless of their Faith. He was present at all the main celebrations throughout the year and was well known for his moving speeches alongside his genuine kindness to all. He united communities where they were once broken, he brought people together because he cared.
Rabbi Lee was a proud member of Havering’s Interfaith Forum and spent much of his time working with all Faith Leaders. His passing has left a huge unfillable hole across our community.
A special memorial will be unveiled on Sunday by the Member of Parliament for Romford, Andrew Rosindell who was good friends with Rabbi Lee.
All are welcome to attend.
