Fantastic Rom Revival event held at Rom skatepark.

A special celebration day was held at Rom Skatepark on the Upper Rainham Road yesterday, Sunday 5 October.

The grade II listed site was packed with skaters, bikers, young children with their scooters and wheelchair users all accessing the excellent facilities on hand to show off their skills.

From the young to the old, all were out and about tackling the curves and jumps available.

A collection of classic cars and a vintage fire engine were also on hand for the large crowd to enjoy as well as lots of food stalls and music. This was a great day for the local community to enjoy.

The skatepark has fantastic facilities to offer for all and should be highlighted as a key area in our community.
