‘The actions of Waltham Forest Council are completely unacceptable, it is totally unfair on the people of Romford already suffering a population explosion’-Andrew Rosindell MP.

‘This arrangement needs to be terminated immediately’-Andrew Rosindell MP.

The Member of Parliament for Romford has stepped in with urgency to deal with the current situation that has seen Waltham Forest Council use the Harefield Manor Hotel in Romford to house their families and individuals.

Mr Rosindell told the Havering Daily:

“The actions of Waltham Forest Borough Council are completely unacceptable and unjustifiable. Not only did they not consult myself, Havering Council or local residents in and around Romford, they are prepared to dump their problems unto us, meanwhile Havering suffers from a housing and homelessness crisis. I am taking this issue, as much as I feasibly can, into my own hands. This arrangement needs to be terminated immediately. It is totally unfair on the people of Romford who are already suffering from a population explosion, without the public services to cope.” 

Mr Rosindell has also written to the Leader of Havering Council, Councillor Ray Morgon.
