Assault in Cottons Park, Romford

Earlier today, it os believed a person was assaulted in Cottons Park, Romford. While details are currently sparse, we have been informed that the individual involved is expected to be OK.

The incident took place in the long grass section at the back of the park, which has now been cordoned off with police tape. A forensic team was on site, diligently collecting evidence to aid in their investigation.

Residents are urged to stay cautious and report any relevant information to the police. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
