Stolen moped rider arrested for carrying a hammer, drugs, stolen goods and driving offences in Romford.

Excellent work by East Area Proactive Team saw a moped rider arrested for multiple offences in Romford.

Officers from the team last week, came upon a moped rider and after a check, revealed the moped was stolen.

The moped failed to stop and a pursuit began. The rider abandoned the bike and a foot chase took place.

The rider was then detained and arrested for handling stolen goods. driving offences, drug possession and possession of a hammer.

All in a day’s work!
