Every Wednesday from 10am to 11am registered nutritionist Sharon Adkins runs free sessions at Rainham library to help locals with any nutrition advice, health issues such as poor sleep, menopause, weight loss and diabetes.

Sharon has been talking to local residents, handing out advice and even giving out free samples of delicious and nutritious homemade food that is easy to make.

Last week Sharon shared a delicious soup packed with yummy veggies to provide our body with many healthy nutrients. This week a home made pasta was on offer, teaching locals how to cook a balanced diet with items from the weekly Food Pantry.

Residents had the chance to chat with Sharon about any health concerns they may have and how eating a healthy diet can help start the path to recovery.

Next week is smoothies week and how drinking a healthy smooth can start your day with lots of energy!

Please pop along to Rainham library every Wednesday, the sessions are all free!
