In the evening of Friday, 3rd May, chaos unfolded on North Street, Hornchurch, as police rushed to the scene following reports of a bus colliding with a female pedestrian. Emergency services swiftly arrived, including officers and the London Ambulance Service, to attend to the victim, described as a woman in her 50s. The woman was swiftly transported to the hospital, where her condition is critical.

A spokesperson for the MET Police told the Havering Daily,

“Police were called at approximately 21:00hrs on Friday, 3 May to reports of a bus in collision with a female pedestrian in North Street, Hornchurch.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

“The woman, believed aged in her 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment – she remains there in a critical condition.

“Road closures remain in place.

“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
