Romford MP condemns Town Hall damage as ‘act of mindless vandalism’.

In a statement following the smashing of windows at Havering Town Hall, Andrew Rosindell M.P., Member of Parliament for Romford, condemned the “mindless vandalism” at Havering Town Hall.

Mr Rosindell who is sadly familiar with vandalism after numerous incidents at his Romford constituency headquarters including an arson attack said:

“What a despicable thing to do. I hope there is CCTV footage to catch these criminals who should be severely punished for their actions!”

“I hope that all the Town Hall staff who are based there are able to carry on their vital work for the residents of our borough. In situations like this, it must always be business as usual! Keep calm and carry on!”

This comes ahead of Thursday’s Greater London Mayoral and City Hall elections.

Mr Rosindell’s Romford Office and Headquarters for the Romford Conservative Party, Margaret Thatcher House, was at the centre of an arson attack in 2004 which led to the building having to be completely refurbished. He has also had red pain thrown all over his front driver and door step several year ago.
