Police Investigate Incident in Upminster
In the early hours of Tuesday, 23rd April, the tranquility of St Mary’s Lane in Upminster was disrupted when the Police received a distress call at 00:26hrs. The report indicated an injured individual, prompting a swift response from both officers and the London Ambulance Service.
Upon arrival, the Police found a 29-year-old man bearing facial injuries. Thanks to the prompt action of emergency responders, he was swiftly transported to an east London hospital, where medical professionals determined his injuries were not life-threatening.
As investigations unfold, the Metropolitan Police Service is working to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident. A spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police stated, “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of his injuries.”
In their efforts to piece together the events leading up to the incident, the Police are appealing to the public for any information that might aid in their investigation. A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Havering,
“Police were called at 00:26hrs on Tuesday, 23 April to reports of an injured man at St Mary’s Lane, Upminster.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene a man, aged 29, was found with facial injuries.
He was taken to an east London hospital where his condition was not life threatening.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of his injuries.
