VIDEO:Much loved Collier Row shop owners leave store after 34 years.

After three decades of owning Collier Row News, Dilip and Nisha Patel have handed their keys over to a new owner. The couple who ran the local shop, have been a huge part of the community with their shop being a focal point for so many residents across the borough.

Yesterday, Dilip and Nisha bid a very emotional farewell to their customers who came to enjoy a glass of Prosecco with them. Romford MP Andrew Rosindell also joined the couple to give his thanks to them for their long service to the community, and the hard work they have done.

Dilip and Nisha will continue to work as councillors across Romford and Collier Row.

Thank you Dilip and Nisha for all your hard work in our community, you will be greatly missed!
