Quick work by Romford officers sees shoplifter detained after stealing goods worth over £200.

Romford Safer Neighbourhood Officers were on patrol yesterday when their quick thinking saw the swift arrest of a man detained for stealing goods worth £225.

The man had stolen many items from a DIY store.

The officers who are always out and about across Romford, had another busy day including the return of a missing person to the local hospital.
