Large knife found hidden in children’s play area in Romford.

Romford Town Centre officers yesterday, Wednesday 21 February, undertook a weapon sweep of a play area in Romford and found a large knife.

The weapon sweep was completed yesterday afternoon and one of the new officers to the team, spotted the dangerous weapon hidden away in the play area.

Great work by our officers who have removed another dangerous weapon off our streets.
