Fast time police enquiries identifies suspect in Harold Hill double stabbing.
A 38 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent after two men were stabbed in Harold Hill on Friday 9 February.
Around 5pm on Friday police were flagged down by members of public on Petersfield Avenue, where two men, both aged in their 20s, were found with stab wound injuries.
The victims were taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital where their injuries were not life threatening.
Officers made immediate local enquiries and quickly identified a suspect.
The 38-year-old man was arrested later that same evening on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent [GBH]. He was taken to an East London police station and was bailed to return on a date in mid-May.
Detectives from East Area CID are investigating what appears to have been an isolated incident.
