Community send condolences after body found in search for missing Gidea Park teenager.
Essex Police refers itself to the IOPC.
The Havering community have sent their heartfelt condolences to the family of Ronnie Benjamin. The 18 year old from Gidea Park had gone missing on Wednesday evening after running into the woods in Navestock. It is believed Ronnie was being chased and ran into the woods to hide.
His family were distraught and had been appealing for help for days to help find Ronnie. He was a vulnerable teenager having recently come out of hospital with health issues, another reason why his family had pleaded for help to find him.
Unfortunately, his body was discovered in the woods on Sunday.
The Havering community have sent their heartfelt condolences to Ronnie’s family during this terrible time.
RIP Ronnie.
