If we do not act now and take decisive action to control and limit the huge numbers of people who are projected to come to Britain over the next decade, the consequences for our nation will be enormous and irreversible.’

The Member of Parliament for Romford, Andrew Rosindell has responded to the news that the population growth for the country has vastly exceeded expectations due to the increasing level of immigration.

Mr Rosindell writes:

I believe that uncontrolled mass immigration is the most serious problem facing the United Kingdom.

If we do not act now and take decisive action to control and limit the huge numbers of people who are projected to come to Britain over the next decade, the consequences for our nation will be enormous and irreversible.

If we fail to get a grip on immigration, the Office for National Statistics predicts that over six million migrants – a population the size of Scotland – are forecast to arrive in the United Kingdom by 2036. That will take the UK population to over 70 million!

The British people voted for governments committed to a reduction in immigration.  They voted for BREXIT in which controlling immigration was a major factor.  Time and time again the British people have demanded a reduction in illegal and legal immigration., but nothing has changed.

I understand and share the disappointment of my constituents who are dismayed at the failure of all governments to carry out the will of the British people and impose strict control on immigration to the United Kingdom.

I stand with the people of Romford who expect our government to do whatever is necessary to control our borders, stop the boats and impose a new regime that will end, once and for all, the open door policy on immigration which is leading to the crisis our nation is now facing.

Andrew Rosindell M.P.
Member of Parliament for Romford.

Is he permitted to attend the House of Commons now, or is he still suspended from attending while Police / CPS are investigating ?

If he is so concerned he should be questioning his Tory Ministers who presided last year in a record net migration figure of getting on for 700,000.
But of course, he hasn’t been in the House of Commons for almost 2 years. Surely the people of Romford are owed an explanation from him or he should simply stand down as an MP

Odd from a party with Russian money in it. Ed Shelug has ties to Putin. They let dirty money in.

It’s just a pathetic right ring idea.

You could be sitting at a table with a Tory, and an immigrant. 20 biscuits on the table.

The Tory takes 19 and says to you: Watch out for that immigrant, he’s after all the biscuits.

Thanks Andy. I believe having an MP that can actually represent their constituency in the commons is a founding tenant of our democracy, but we don’t always get what we want
